FinCon Reveals 2026 Expo Location and Details
As FinCon 2025 comes to a close, the financial content creator conference has shared details about next year’s gathering of money nerds.
About FinCon 2026:
Next year, FinCon will be headed to Palm Springs, California. The annual event will be held from September 16th to 18th, 2026 at the Palm Springs Convention Center. This news comes as FinCon 2025 wrapped up in Portland, Oregon.
In celebration of the big announcement, the first 200 Creator Passes purchased will be offered for $249. After that, passes will start at $299. Creator Passes included access to all FinCon sessions, as well as video recordings, 1:1 brand meeting access, a T-shirt, and more.
Meanwhile, the All Access Creator Pass will be $599 for 2026. This tier adds perks, such as a networking lunch with speakers and brands, access to a specialty lounge, reserved seating at sessions, and expedited check-in. Lastly, a Brand Pass intended for brands, industry, and agency reps will be offered for $899.
The 2026 event will mark the 16th year for FinCon, which held its first conference in Schaumburg, Illinois back in 2011. Since then, the expo has traveled to multiple cities, including St. Louis, Charlotte, Dallas, Orlando, Washington D.C., and Atlanta, among others. Additionally, a virtual edition called FinConX was hosted in 2020.
More About FinCon:
Billed as the place where money and media meet, FinCon is an expo for financial content creators — including YouTubers, podcasters, bloggers, authors, etc. — as well as money advisors, coaches, and more. Additionally, the convention welcomes brands that want to promote their products and work with attendees. Each year, FinCon features a variety of sessions from top speakers, niche meetups, an expo floor with brand booths, and an environment of collaboration over competition.
My Thoughts:
For some reason, I had it in my head that FinCon switched between East Coast and West Coast locations each year. Yet, looking at the free t-shirt from this year’s event (which highlights all of the past locations), that simply isn’t true. So, after a few Eastern events, I suppose it does make sense to do back-to-back years out West.
Personally, I’m definitely looking forward to what will be my fifth in-person FinCon come 2026. My only minor concern is that Palm Springs isn’t exactly the easiest city to get to. While there is an airport, it’s not the size of those found in past host cities like, say, Atlanta — or even Portland. Therefore, I have a feeling that attendees may want to consider driving to the desert from other Southern California airports.
