Chase Premieres Sapphire Lounge by The Club in Las Vegas
The latest Sapphire Lounge by The Club location has opened in Sin City’s airport.
About the New Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club at LAS:
Chase’s Sapphire Lounge network has made its hotly anticipated arrival at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas. The new location officially opened its doors on December 3rd and can be found at Concourse C in Terminal 1 (post-security).
According to Chase, the new lounge is 4,590 square feet and takes inspiration from Las Vegas itself. Plus, the location features Chase’s first champagne parlor. As for food, the LAS Sapphire Lounge by The Club partners with Momofuku founder David Chang to offer a seasonal, curated menu of small bites — including Momofuku’s popular pork buns. Elsewhere, visitors can also enjoy coffee from Nevada’s own Dark Moon Coffee Roasters.
Access to the Sapphire Lounge by The Club is complimentary to Chase Sapphire Reserve, J.P. Morgan Reserve, and The Ritz-Carlton Credit Card customers. Additionally, those who have Priority Pass membership by other means can enjoy complimentary access to a Sapphire Lounge once per calendar year. To enter, travelers will need to present their Priority Pass membership card along with a valid boarding pass for a flight that’s departing in three hours or less.
Meanwhile, as this new Chase Sapphire Lounge opens, the first-ever location is set to close. The lounge found at Hong Kong International Airport is set to close on January 5th, 2026 per the Chase site.
The opening of the LAS lounge also comes a few months after the flagship Chase Sapphire Reserve card underwent a massive refresh. Now, the card commands a $795 fee but features a number of credits for cardholders in addition to perks such as lounge access.
What They’re Saying:
Discussing the new lounge location, Chase’s Head of Airport Lounge Benefits Dana Pouwels remarked, “Las Vegas is renowned for its vibrant energy, world-class entertainment and diverse culinary scene —qualities we’ve brought to life throughout the lounge. From the champagne parlor to thoughtfully designed spaces for productivity as well as our signature bar, our newest lounge gives travelers a taste of the city’s luxury and excitement, making their journey as memorable as the destination itself.”
My Thoughts:
Looking at photos, this Sapphire Lounge seems lovely. That said, I have some concerns about the size. Chase says that this location is 4,590 square feet. That’s nearly half the 9,000 square feet that the LAS Amex Centurion was… before renovation expanded it to 13,500 square feet! Considering that the Centurion still regularly reaches capacity, I wonder if this quaint space will face similar issues.
What also stands out to me about the Sapphire Lounge at LAS is its location in the airport. Unlike the Cenurion Lounge in Concourse D (which requires me to take a tram from my Allegiant gates), the Sapphire Lounge is an easy walk since Concourse C connects to A and B.
Since my American Express Platinum Card includes a Priority Pass Select, in theory, I should be able to claim my once-annual visit to this lounge — so hopefully I’ll get to check it out when I’m in Vegas for CES next month (assuming there’s space).
