Bilt’s November 2023 Rent Day Features Emirates Transfer Bonus

As November 1st approaches, Bilt has announced its November 2023 Rent Day offers, which include a transfer bonus for Emirates, new dining experiences, and more.

About the bonus:

On November 1st, Bilt customers can earn a bonus of up to 150% when transferring their Bilt Points to Emirates. According to Bilt, this bonus means that customers will be able to fly to Athens or Milan in Economy for as few as 23,000 Bilt Points or as few as 50,000 Bilt Points for Business Class bookings.

The size of the transfer bonus will once again vary depending on Bilt Member Status. Here’s how it breaks down:

  • Blue: 75% bonus (1,000 Bilt Points = 1,750 Skywards Miles)
  • Silver: 100% bonus (1,000 Bilt Points = 2,000 Skywards Miles)
  • Gold: 125% bonus (1,000 Bilt Points = 2,250 Skywards Miles)
  • Platinum: 150% bonus (1,000 Bilt Points = 2,500 Skywards Miles)

As a reminder, Bilt status is achieved by earning more points in a calendar year. Silver status requires members to earn 25,000 points while Gold and Platinum are reached at 50,000 points and 100,000 points per year respectively.

About Bilt Dining Experiences:

Last month, Bilt debuted Bilt Experiences by inviting members to select NFL games. This time around, they’re introducing Bilt Dining Experiences and hosting special events at restaurants in New York, Miami, Boston and Dallas. These intimate events include tasting menus, wine pairings, and more (with offerings varying by location). Some of the featured eateries include Carbone, Shinji’s, 1928, Alice, and more.

While each of these Dining Experiences will take place on the 1st, bookings opened at noon Eastern today. Members could book these events for either 12,500 Bilt Points or $150 per person.

These experiences come as the Bilt Dining platform recently expanded to several new cities. In total, the program now includes restaurants in more than 20 cities across the country. Some notable new additions include Las Vegas, Phoenix, Nashville, Washington D.C., and many more. With Bilt Dining, customers can earn up to 10x Bilt Points at select restaurants (in addition to any other applicable rewards). What’s more, Bilt customers can use any linked Visa, Mastercard, or American Express card to take advantage of these offers — although the Bilt Mastercard itself is always an option.

Other Bilt Rent Day November 2023 features:

Rounding out November’s Rent Day offers are some returning standards. These include the game show Rent Free, where members can play a Family Feud-style game for a chance to have their rent paid. This month’s episode features Shark Tank‘s own Kevin O’Leary. Meanwhile, members can also play the quiz game Point Quest for a chance to score bonus Bilt Points.

Lastly, as always, Bilt Mastercard customers can earn double points on all non-rent purchases on November 1st. This means 6x points on dining, 4x points on select travel, and 2x points on all other purchases except for rent.

My thoughts:

Not to sound bitter or jealous, but I’m a bit annoyed that the last few Rent Day offers have had a status element. Then again, I just cashed in my points toward a home purchase and wouldn’t have been able to take advantage of this bonus anyway, so what do I care? Nevertheless, I do wonder if Bilt status will play a bigger role in the future of the program.

As for the other offerings, I’m really glad to see both Bilt Experience and Bilt Dining expanding. While neither has come to my neck of the woods, the latter now including such cities as Las Vegas means I’ll hopefully have a chance to try it out before too long.

Overall, November 2023 is another solid Bilt Rent Day as the platform shows no signs of slowing down. Will cardholders and members get a nice Christmas present from Bilt next month? We’ll have to wait and see.
