Wells Fargo Launches “Get Money Ready” Education Platform

A major bank is rolling out a new digital resource designed to help consumers feel more confident about managing their money.

About Wells Fargo’s Get Money Ready:

This week, Wells Fargo announced the launch of its Get Money Ready platform. The financial education and coaching effort is not only free to use but is also available to both Wells Fargo customers and non-customers alike.

According to the company, Get Money Ready creates a customized experience based on each user’s financial goals and priorities. When users arrive on the site, they can select a financial goal they already have in mind or browse some options. Overall, the material on the site can assist those looking to manage everyday expenses, create an emergency fund, build credit, save for the future, prepare for retirement, and more.

As part of the experience, users will also receive a personalized financial playbook, which will evolve with them as they reach new goals. This playbook provides tailored recommendations while also helping customers track their progress.

Get Money Ready’s debut comes as the bank’s 2026 Money Study found strong demand for new approaches to financial matters. The survey found that 81% of respondents wanted to learn new ways of thinking about and managing their money. That percentage was even higher among Gen Z and Millennials, with 91% and 89% repsecitvely expressing that sentiment.

Get Money Ready is now available through GetMoneyReady.com. Notably, though, the platform provides education and coaching but “does not offer investment, legal, tax, or financial advice.”

What They’re Saying:

Discussing the new platform, Wells Fargo Head of Philanthropy and Community Impact Darlene Goins said, “We believe everyone deserves access to resources that help them build a stronger financial future. Get Money Ready is designed to make financial guidance more accessible and actionable.” Goins added, “By connecting people with practical tools and customized information, we can help them make informed decisions, build confidence, and take meaningful steps toward reaching their financial goals.”

My Thoughts:

We’ve seen a few of these types of platforms pop up in recent years (I also could have sworn Wells Fargo already had one), and I’d say they vary in quality. Looking on the Get Money Ready site, I was initially underwhelmed when I merely found a few articles under each goal option. However, once I clicked “I’m ready for coaching,” it was a different story.

Selecting that option brought me to another site, which is powered by Life Cents. From the screenshots on the landing page and my brief exploration, these seems to be much more interactive and intriguing. That’s why I’m a little confused as to why Wells Fargo doesn’t even mention Life Cents in its press release.

Anyway, I do sincerly hope that this Get Money Ready platform will be beneficial to those looking for some financial education. Also, I look forward to exploring the Life Cents tool.
