Rove Adds Frontier Airlines as 19th Travel Transfer Partner

A growing rewards program has added yet another transfer partner — and is offering a limited-time bonus on top of that.

About the Addition of Frontier to Rove:

This week, Rove revealed that Frontier Airlines was joining its stable of rewards transfer partners. That means that, now, Rove users can transfer their Rove Miles to Frontier at a rate of 1:1 (1,000 Rove Miles converts to 1,000 Frontier Miles). Notably, this is the first time Frontier has been offered as a transferable points loyalty program option. It’s also Rove’s 19th partner to date.

To celebrate the addition of Frontier to Rove, the platform is offering a special transfer bonus. This month, members can earn an extra 25% when transferring Rove Miles to Frontier. In other words, during this promotion, 5,000 Rove Miles can be turned into 6,250 Frontier Miles. Currently, this offer is set to expire at 11:59 p.m. ET on July 31, 2026.

In addition to being a transfer partner, Frontier flights are now available through Rove’s live award search. Using this tool, users can find award redemption options. Plus, as Rove notes, Frontier regularly runs promotions where flights can be booked for as little as 2,500 points (plus $6 in taxes and fees).

More About Rove:

Rove is a loyalty platform where users can earn transferable points. To earn Rove Miles, customers can shop online using Rove links or book flights/hotels using the site.

As mentioned, Frontier is the 19th travel transfer partner. Other options currently include:

  • Aeromexico Rewards
  • Air Canada Aeroplan
  • ALL Accor
  • Air France-KLM Flying Blue
  • Air India Maharaja Club
  • Cathay
  • Etihad Guest
  • Finnair Plus
  • Frontier Airlines
  • Hainan Airlines Fortune Wings Club
  • JAL Mileage Bank
  • Miles & More
  • SAS EuroBonus
  • Qatar Airways Privilege Club
  • Thai Airways Royal Orchid Plus
  • Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles
  • Vietnam Airlines Lotusmiles
  • Virgin Atlantic Flying Club
  • Virgin Red

My Thoughts:

Over the past several months, I’ve heard about Rove a lot. And yet, it wasn’t until today that I truly checked out what they had to offer. After doing so, clearly, I need to start utilizing their shopping portal (or at least comparing rates to Rakuten).

As for the Frontier part of it all, it is pretty cool that Rove was able to score a partner that no one else has. Additionally, it does sound as though Frontier flights prove to be a great deal under the right conditions. The 25% bonus is nothing to sneeze at either!

I’ll also point out that this news comes on the heels of Frontier renewing its long-term co-branded credit card partnership with Barclays. That partnership may be one reason why the airline hasn’t been offered as a transfer partner for other bank programs in the past — and could also be why working with Rove (which isn’t a bank) was deemed okay.

Anyway, I’ll definitely need to spend more time exploring Rove as they seem to only be getting larger.

2025 SoFi Checking and Savings Review

Ever since I started taking an interest in the FinTech sector, one company whose name I’ve seen pop up over and over again is SoFi.
