Visa Relaunches Small Business Rewards Platform SavingsEdge

Small business owners with Visa business cards can once again earn rewards via SavingsEdge.

About the relaunched program:

Visa has officially relaunched its SavingsEdge platform following a short hiatus. The updated tool includes some enhanced features, new offerings, and more. These changes are meant to “support smarter spending and saving.”

According to Visa, the new SavingsEdge includes hundreds of new merchant offerings. This includes Instant Coupons and Cashback Offers in such categories as travel, dining, business services, electronics, and more. Cardholders will also now get real-time notifications when a qualifying transaction earns cashback. Similarly, using a cashback tracker, cardholders can easily view their savings.

Looking on SavingsEdge, some current Cashback Offers include 2% back on Expedia, 2% back in-store at Petco, 2.5% back on Target.com, 1.5% back on Apple online purchases, and more. Additionally, featured Instant Coupon deals include 10% off annual plans for SignNow, 30% off business plans for Keeper Security, up to 40% off monthly Premium WeTransfer plans, etc.

Because of this update to the platform, business cardholders who had previously linked their cards to SavingsEdge prior to May 17th, 2024 will need to relink them to the new platform. This can be done by providing an email address as well as the card number. New users will also be required to enter their name and create an account by entering a password. Visa SavingsEdge is currently available to those with Visa Business Debit, Credit, or eligible Prepaid cards.

What they’re saying:

Announcing the relaunched site, Visa SVP and North America Head of Visa Commercial Solutions Veronica Fernandez said, “Owning a small business can present challenges, and businesses need every advantage they can get, no matter the economic climate. We know it’s important for business owners to save on products and services they need to run their business smoothly.” Fernandez continued “Visa SavingsEdge has delivered value to cardholders and issuers for years. Through this investment, we’re unlocking even more ways to save for Visa Small Business cardholders.”

My thoughts:

Although I’d heard about SavingsEdge previously, I had never signed up for myself (mainly because I forgot that I had a qualifying card). However, looking at the new version, it simultaneously seems easier to use and more generic overall. That said, there are some fairly attractive deals to be found. Plus, since these are card-linked offers, they should stack with cashback portals like Rakuten. So, if you’re a business owner with a business Visa debit or credit card, be sure to give the updated SavingsEdge service a shot.

2025 SoFi Checking and Savings Review

Ever since I started taking an interest in the FinTech sector, one company whose name I’ve seen pop up over and over again is SoFi.
