Pepper Rewards Offering Spring Project-Themed Bonus Mission

Pepper Rewards has announced its latest special offer, allowing users to earn bonuses on select gift card purchases.

About the offer:

For a limited time, Pepper Rewards users can earn a bonus when buying gift cards from select brands. Specifically, this batch of bonus brands includes several stores perfect for spring projects and cleaning.

The list includes:

  • Lowe’s
  • Ace Hardware
  • The Home Depot
  • TJ Maxx
  • Marshalls
  • HomeGoods
  • Bath & Body Works
  • Auto Zone

From now through April 21st, 2024 (at 11:59 p.m. ET), Pepper customers who spend a combined total of at least $150 on gift cards from the above brands can earn an additional 20 Pepper Points. These points translate to $5 in gift cards for any brand on the Pepper app. Plus, these bonus points come in addition to the 5% back app users already earn. This means that a purchase of $150 in gift cards as part of this promotion would earn customers a total of 50 points (worth $12.50).

Note that this offer is limited to one per person. Additionally, bonus points earned as part of this promotion will be issued on Monday, April 22nd, 2024.

About Pepper Rewards:

With Pepper Rewards, customers can purchase digital gift cards from a long list of brands, including Amazon, Sam’s Club, Chipotle, DoorDash, Ulta, Airbnb, and many more. As mentioned, users earn 5% back on each gift card purchase in the form of Pepper Points. These points can then be redeemed in increments of $5 (20 points) toward the purchase of additional gift cards from the marketplace. Pepper also provides users with a scannable barcode or QR code when applicable, allowing customers to instantly redeem their gift cards in-store — or shoppers can use the provided gift card numbers to redeem online.

My thoughts:

While Pepper Rewards has had similar bonus missions in recent weeks, this one struck me as particularly strong. That’s likely because, as a new homeowner, the inclusion of Lowe’s and Home Depot jumped out to me. In fact, I used Pepper to purchase a Lowe’s gift card that I then redeemed on a lawnmower.

Beyond that, if you don’t have any large home improvement projects to do, options like HomeGoods and Marshalls may come in handy as you refresh your space. Also, who doesn’t love Bath & Body Works candles (he said immediately after lighting one of his own)?

All in all, even if you don’t take advantage of this particular Pepper Rewards offer, the app is absolutely worth keeping an eye on as promotions like this have been rolling out regularly.

2025 SoFi Checking and Savings Review

Ever since I started taking an interest in the FinTech sector, one company whose name I’ve seen pop up over and over again is SoFi. That was later sent into overdrive as the company has not only become a household name thanks to its stadium naming rights deal but also because of the company’s continued product expansions. The most interesting development in my mind is SoFi’s acquisition of Golden Pacific...
