Pepper App Offering 10% Off Lowe’s Gift Cards for Father’s Day

The cashback app Pepper Rewards has a special deal in place for Father’s Day weekend.

About the offer:

Starting today and running through this weekend, Pepper is offering a 10% instant discount on Lowe’s gift cards — in addition to the regular 5% back. As a result, users can purchase a $50 gift card for $45, a $100 gift card for $90, a $500 gift card for $450, etc.. The 10% discount will only apply on up to $500 in Lowe’s gift cards purchased and only one deal per user can be redeemed.

This special offer is currently available and will expire at 11:59 p.m. Eastern on June 16th. Additionally, note that Pepper Points will only be earned on the paid total.

While this Lowe’s deal is the featured offer of the moment, it’s not the only special discount currently available. Right now, Pepper users can save $5 when buying a $50 Bass Pro Shop gift card or save 10% on a DoorDash gift card.

About Pepper Rewards:

Pepper is a free mobile app where customers can earn 5% back when buying digital gift cards from a variety of brands. In addition to the featured Lowe’s, gift cards from the likes of Amazon, Sam’s Club, Chipotle, DoorDash, Ulta, Airbnb, and many others are currently available. With each purchase, users will earn Pepper Points that can be redeemed (in $5 increments) to purchase additional gift cards.

After purchasing gift cards on Pepper, in addition to displaying the gift card number and security code, the app will provide a scannable barcode or QR code where applicable. As a result, gift cards can be easily redeemed online or in-store.

My thoughts:

This is a pretty great offer from Pepper Rewards with a strong timing tie-in. In particular, while earning Pepper Points is always great, I love that this is an instant discount plus the rewards points. As a result, those buying last-minute gifts for their dad (or for themselves) can make their gift budget go further. Also, speaking from experience, I know that the digital gift cards purchased on Pepper can be scanned and redeemed in-store at Lowe’s — just be sure to have the security code handy as they’ll need to enter that as well.

By the way, beyond this offer and the regular 5% back, Pepper Rewards regularly runs special promotions and “missions” that can save you money. Plus, currently, new users can earn 10% back in Pepper Points during their first 15 days when they use a referral code. So, if you’re looking to take advantage of this Father’s Day deal, be sure to give Pepper Rewards a try — and enter code 587870 when signing up.
