According to reports, Capital One will be sunsetting a spectacular credit card bonus offer soon.

About the Limited-Time Venture Rewards Card Offer:

Capital One’s current limited-time offer for its popular Venture card is coming to a close. However, until May 12th, new cardholders can still take advantage of the deal that’s worth $1,000 (or more) in travel.

Right now, new Venture Rewards customers can earn 75,000 bonus miles after spending at least $4,000 in purchases on the card within their first three months (from account opening). On top of that, cardmembers will enjoy a $250 credit to be used on the Capital One Travel portal during their first cardholder year.

Not only can these 75,000 bonus miles be used for $750 in travel purchases but can also be transferred to several partner programs, including JetBlueTrueBlue, Air Canada Aeroplan, Emirates Skywards, Air France/KLM Flying Blue, Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer, Virgin Red, Wyndham Rewards, and more.

About the Capital One Venture Card:

With the Capital One Venture Rewards card, customers can earn 2x miles on every purchase. Plus, cardholders earn 5x miles on hotel and rental car bookings made via Capital One Travel.

As mentioned, these miles can then be redeemed for any qualifying travel purchases, used for Capital One Travel bookings, or transferred to participating loyalty programs. Additionally, Capital One miles can be used for statement credits, Amazon purchases, gift cards, PayPal credits, exclusive experiences, and more — although these options come with varying redemption rates.

The Capital One Venture Rewards card does carry a $95 annual fee. However, it does not charge any foreign transaction fees.

My Thoughts:

As I shared a few weeks ago, I recently added the Venture card to my wallet, thanks in large part to this special offer. In my experience, after getting approved, I was able to instantly access my digital card number and start spending right away. Then, shortly after hitting my $4,000 in spending, my 75,000-point bonus hit my account. Meanwhile, the $250 Capital One Travel credit appeared within three days of my card approval. Funny enough, when my physical card arrived in the mail, that’s when I learned that this is a metal card too.

Needless to say, I think this is a great deal — at least in the first year. So, if you’re considering getting the Capital One Venture Rewards card, I’d recommend doing so quickly before this offer disappears.

2025 SoFi Checking and Savings Review

Ever since I started taking an interest in the FinTech sector, one company whose name I’ve seen pop up over and over again is SoFi. That was later sent into overdrive as the company has not only become a household name thanks to its stadium naming rights deal but also because of the company’s continued product expansions. The most interesting development in my mind is SoFi’s acquisition of Golden Pacific...
