Bilt to Feature Hilton Transfer Bonus for March 2025 Rent Day

Bilt Rewards has announced its Rent Day deals for March 2025 — including a transfer bonus for Hilton.

About the Hilton Honors Transfer Bonus:

On March 1st, Bilt members can claim a special bonus when transferring Bilt Points to Hilton Honors. For Blue members (the base status), a 150% bonus will be offered. That deal increases the transfer rate to 1:2.5, meaning that 2,000 Bilt Points would be worth 5,000 Hilton Honors points. Meanwhile, those with Silver, Gold, or Platinum Bilt status can earn a 200% bonus for a transfer rate of 1:3.

As a reminder, point transfers must be done in increments of 1,000 and those at the Blue status level must transfer a minimum of 2,000 points.

Other March 2025 Rent Day features:

Of course, March 2025 will also see the return of some regular Rent Day staples. This includes the ability for Bilt Mastercard customers to earn double points on all non-rent purchases. That means 6x points on dining, 4x on select travel, and 2x on all other purchases except for rent. Additionally, this perk is now capped at 1,000 bonus points per Rent Day.

March will also feature another installment of Bilt’s Rent Free game show, giving members a chance to win free rent. This month’s guest is Brian Kelly — also known as The Points Guy.

Other Rent Day offers include complimentary fitness classes, Bilt Neighborhood Dining and Comedy experiences, and more.

My thoughts:

On the surface, a 150% or even 200% bonus may seem like a huge opportunity. Unfortunately, the generosity here is undercut by the fact that Bilt’s 1:1 transfer rate to Hilton Honors is weak to begin with. For comparison, American Express Membership Rewards points transfer to Hilton at a standard rate of 1:2 (so 1,000 MR points becomes 2,000 Honors points) — and there’s a current 25% bonus on such transfers, making it 1:2.5.

Having said that, the 1:2.5 or 1:3 rate is still decent overall. Plus, those with Hilton Honors Silver status or higher may be able to take advantage of the hotel chain’s Fifth Night Free promotion when booking with points, which further increases effective value. Because of that, I’d say it’s worth spending the next few days looking at potential Hilton redemptions that will maximize your points and then consider making the transfer during this Rent Day offer. Otherwise, you may be better off holding onto your points and waiting for a more lucrative bonus or option in the future.
