Bilt Brings Back Multiple Rent Day Offers for January 2024

For January of 2024, Bilt is bringing back a few of its top 2023 Rent Day offers.

About the January 2024 Bilt Rent Day offerings:

Bilt is kicking off 2024 with a bang as it presents its Rent Day Best of 2023. On January 1st, members can take advantage of five offers:

  • Air France/KLM Flying Blue transfer bonus
  • Virgin Atlantic Flying Club transfer bonus
  • IHG One transfer bonus
  • Amazon redemption increase
  • Lyft credit

Starting with the transfer bonuses, the Flying Blue and Flying Club bonses are “reruns” of May and August respectively while the One bonus actually previously happened in December 2022. With each of these offers, members will be able to transfer their Bilt Points and earn a bonus of up to 150%. However, the percentage will vary based on Bilt Status, with Blue (basic) members earning 75%, Silver recieving 100%, Gold getting 125%, and Platinum members enjoying the full 150%. At that top level, this would mean that points can be transferred at a rate of 1:2.5.

Bilt is also bringing back its March Rent Day offer that will allow members to get increased value when using their Bilt Points on Amazon. Specifically, on January 1st, they’ll get 50% more per point used for purchases on the site. Normally, Amazon redemptions value points at 0.7¢ each, so this offer would increase that to 1.05¢ each.

Finally, Bilt Mastercard customers who link their Lyft account can claim a $5 credit on Rent Day. Although this credit must be claimed on January 1st, the terms state that it will be valid on U.S. rides for 90 days. This promotion is similar to one offered in July — although it was $20 for Bilt Mastercard customers back then.

Other Rent Day features:

In addition to all five of these days, some Rent Day staples will also be in the mix for January 1st, 2024. This includes the return of the gameshow Rent Free where members have a chance to have their rent paid. On this month’s show, *NSYNC member Lance Bass plays the game and tries to win free rent for as many members as possible. Meanwhile, Bilt Points Quest will give customers the chance to score bonus points for answering trivia question.

Plus, on Rent Day, Bilt Mastercard customers can earn double points on all purchases except for rent. This means 6x on dining, 4x on select travel, and 2x on all other non-rent purchases.

My thoughts:

What can I say? This is an awesome event and a great concept. Even better, this will be my first Rent Day as a Silver status member, meaning I could earn 100% bonus for the three transfer options. Instead, however, I have my eye on the Amazon bonus. Sure, the three transfers are likely a better deal, but I personally have some household Amazon purchases to make.

All in all, this is an exciting way to kick off 2024 and, as always, I look forward to seeing what Bilt cooks up next.
