Bilt Boosting Gift Card Redemptions for July 2025 Rent Day
Bilt Rewards is back with another Rent Day promotion for July 2025.
About July’s Bilt Rent Day Gift Card Deal:
On July 1st, Bilt Rewards members can take advantage of Rent Day by redeeming their Bilt Points for gift cards at enhanced rates. Similar to recent transfer partner offers, this redemption bonus is tiered, meaning that those with higher Bilt status will see larger bonuses. Here’s a look at the bonus structure.
- Blue (entry level): 25% bonus
- Silver: 50% bonus
- Gold: 75% bonus
- Platinum: 100% bonus
Typically, Bilt Points can be redeemed for gift cards at a value of 0.7¢ each. That means that, with this bonus, points will be valued at 0.875¢, 1.05¢, 1.225¢, and 1.4¢ each, respectively.
As for what types of gift cards Bilt offers, current selections include Uber/Uber Eats, Instacart, Nordstrom, eBay, Adidas, Ulta, Lowe’s, and many more. Note that these gift card options do have various minimums. For example, gift cards to The Home Depot start at just $5, while IKEA requires at least $25. When ordering gift cards via Bilt, members also have the option to send the digital card to a friend. This is done via messaging apps once the redemption is made.
More Bilt Rent Day July 2025 Features:
In addition to this gift card offer, Bilt is bringing back its Rent Day staples for July. This includes another installment of the platform’s Rent Free game show, which gives members a chance to win free rent. Comedian Andrew Schulz will appear on this latest episode — and members can play the game now through the 1st.
Meanwhile, Bilt Mastercard customers can once again earn double points on nearly all purchases made on the first of the month. This equates to 6x points on dining, 4x points on select travel, and 2x points on all other purchases except for rent. However, Double Points are capped at a total of 1,000 bonus points per Rent Day.
My Thoughts:
Alas, for most members, this month’s Rent Day offer still won’t amount to a very good deal. That’s because only those with Bilt Platinum status will see a per-point value that bests what they’d get by redeeming points on the Bilt Travel portal. Short of that, personally, I wouldn’t settle for anything less than 1¢ per point, which would mean you’d need at least Silver status to clear that threshold with this promotion. So, unless you have a good reason to redeem for gift cards, I’d skip this offer.
With this month’s Rent Day deal being a miss overall, let’s hope for better come August.
