Bilt Announces SoulCycle Promotion for September Rent Day

Bilt Rewards has announced its slate of offerings for September 2023’s Rent Day — including an expansion of its SoulCycle partnership.

About the Rent Day SoulCycle promotion:

Bilt is taking its partnership with SoulCycle to the next level for its September 2023 Rent Day promo. First, on September 1st, one rider in each Rent Day Ride will win free rent (up to $2,500). These Rent Day Ride classes will be offered at more than 50 SoulCycle locations across the country and all class participants are eligible to win the free rent prize.

What’s more, this week, Bilt Rewards members can book a complimentary bike using the Bilt app. However, there are only 10 bikes per class available for this offer and they’re offered to members on a first-come, first-served basis. Those who miss out on this offer can still book a Rent Day ride via the Fitness tab in the app, with the option to either redeem points or make regular payments.

Other September 2023 Rent Day offerings:

This month will also see the return of Bilt’s new gameshow Rent Free. Best described as a Family Feud-style survey game, Rent Free allows Bilt members to guess the top answers to a question for a chance to win free rent (up to $2,500). Those who successfully complete the challenge will be automatically entered to win. Meanwhile, the show itself will feature real estate mogul Ryan Serhant joining Bilt Founder and CEO Ankur Jain. Rent Free is now available in the Bilt app.

Additionally, on Rent Day itself, members can have a chance to win more points via Point Quest. By correctly answering trivia questions, members could score up to 250 Bilt points.

More on Rent Day:

Since debuting nearly one year ago, Bilt Rewards has celebrated Rent Day on the first day of each month. These promotions have taken on a number of different forms, ranging from transfer bonuses and status match challenges to enhanced redemptions and more. Plus, while they may not have been the stars of the show, SoulCycle “bring a friend” offers have also been a part of past Rent Days.

Even better, Bilt Mastercard customers have the ability to earn double points on (almost) all purchases made on Rent Day. As a result, cardholders can earn 6x points on dining, 4x points on select travel, and 2x points on all other purchases — excluding rent.

My thoughts:

Personally, as someone who’s never been to SoulCycle and doesn’t live anywhere near one, September happens to be one of the least interesting Rent Day promos for me. Then again, if I did live in the vicinity of one, the chance to win free rent alone might be reason enough to give it a shot. Meanwhile, I’m glad to see that Rent Free and Point Quest are back again this month as I happen to enjoy both.

Looking ahead, October 2023 marks one year of Bilt Rent Days, so I’m hoping for something big. What will it be? We’ll need to wait a short 30 days or so to find out.
