Best Western Rewards Reveals Holiday Bonus Point Opportunity

As millions of Americans gear up for their holiday travels, one well-known hotel chain has announced a new promotion that could yield customers some sizable bonuses. Between now and February 5th, Best Western Rewards customers can earn up to 20,000 bonus points over the course of four stays. After their first eligible stay, they’ll earn 2,000 bonus points followed by 4,000 after their second stay, an additional 6,000 after their third, and finally an 8,000 point bonus will be awarded to customers after their fourth stay during the promotion.

Best Western notes that these bonus points could take between seven and 10 business days to post to Rewards accounts following the conclusion of eligible stays. This promotion is valid at Best Western branded hotel properties in the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean. Importantly, Rewards members must first register for this promotion by visiting the Rewards Rush website. To get started, guests can enter their REwards member ID or can open a new Best Western Rewards account.

This Rewards Rush promotion is the latest overture Best Western has made to its loyal guests during what’s been a turbulent few years for travel. According to the brand, in 2020, they were the first hotel company to extend Elite status for customers. Similarly, in 2021, the chain also lowered its Elite status qualifications — halving the eligibility requirements and making it easier for travelers to maintain or achieve status,

Announcing the Rewards Rush offer, Best Western’s VP of Advertising, Marketing, Innovation, and Analytics Jay Hubbs stated, “Best Western is celebrating the joy of the season by rewarding our BWR members for their loyalty, especially over the past few challenging years. This impressive offer gives our guests the opportunity to bank extra points as they travel to family and friends this holiday season and is a way for us to show our gratitude for staying with us.” Hubbs concluded, “BWR members with point balances will be able to earn additional points faster so they can qualify for more free nights.”

According to The Points Guy, Best Western Rewards points have an approximate value of 0.6¢ each — although that will vary depending on the redemption. As a result, the 20k points that guests can earn during this promotion have a likely value of about $120. Although that’s not a lot, given Best Western’s relative affordability, it could certainly go a long way. Thus, those planning to hit the road this holiday season may want to take advantage of this offer and hopefully score themselves a discount for future travels in the process.
