Bilt Rolling Out Neighborhood Concierge Digital Assistant Feature

Bilt Rewards is bringing a new digital tool to members.

About Bilt’s Neighborhood Concierge:

Today, Bilt unveiled the Bilt Neighborhood Concierge. This free service is integrated into the Bilt app and is meant to help users complete everyday tasks while also accessing exclusive member benefits and more.

Among the Neighborhood Concierge tasks cited by Bilt are making rent or mortgage payments, placing maintenance requests (at participating Bilt properties), getting restaurant recommendations and reservations, booking fitness classes, placing delivery orders, reserving rides, booking flights/hotels with Bilt Points, and more. Members will also be able to discover and book special experiences in their area.

According to Bilt, Neighborhood Concierge differs from other AI digital assistant tools as it has direct connections to local businesses, member rewards, and your home. However, like other AIs, the service will grow more personalized as it learns about users’ preferences. As Bilt notes, “This isn’t just about convenience, it’s a service that actually executes on that convenience for you.”

Bilt Neighborhood Concierge is launching today exclusively to Bilt Close Friends (a program that members can apply for on the Bilt site or app). It is expected to roll out to more customers in the coming weeks.

More From Bilt:

This Neighborhood Concierge announcement continues what’s been a big month for Bilt. On February 7th, Bilt 2.0 officially launched, introducing three new credit cards. On top of that, Bilt just revealed its Rent Day offerings for March, which will enable members to earn up to 125% bonus when transferring points to Japan Airlines (JAL).

What They’re Saying:

In a letter to members announcing the new feature, Bilt founder and CEO Ankur Jain said, “This is just the start. Over the coming months, we’ll continue adding new capabilities to the Neighborhood Concierge, deeper integrations, and more exclusive member benefits—all to make life around your home more seamless and more rewarding. From home repair to food delivery to prescription transfers, and much more.”

My Thoughts:

Oftentimes, when it comes to these types of features, there’s a large delta between what’s presented as the possibilities of the tool and how it works in practice. For example, I’m very curious to see how this Neighborhood Concierge is able to book flights and hotels using Bilt Points. Then again, I suppose that could just mean using points on the Bilt Travel platform rather than doing the work of finding the right transfer partner — which would be far more impressive.

Ultimately, with this tool just launching now (and to a select number of members), it’s hard to say how useful it will prove to be. I’m obviously a bit skeptical, but I look forward to gaining access to Bilt Neighborhood Concierge myself and seeing what it can do.

2025 SoFi Checking and Savings Review

Ever since I started taking an interest in the FinTech sector, one company whose name I’ve seen pop up over and over again is SoFi.
