Bilt Announces Rent Day January 2026 and 2.0 Preorder Date

As Bilt prepares for the big transition to 2.0, the company has cobbled together some Rent Day offerings for January 2026 — including a unique vinyl launch.

About Bilt Rent Day for January 2026:

Bilt is all but taking a month off to start 2026 as January’s Rent Day doesn’t feature any widespread transfer bonuses or redemption deals. However, according to their terms sheet, targeted offers for enhanced Amazon and/or rent credit redemptions are being offered to some members. Since these are targeted, only members who see these deals in their Bilt app or website dashboard will be able to take advantage.

Ahead of Rent Day, Bilt is also offering bonus points on its recently-launched Home Delivery service. Through the 1st, customers can earn 10x points plus free delivery on purchases. This is capped at $5,000 in spending per eligible Bilt member.

Elsewhere, standard Rent Day features will return for January 2026. This includes double points on all non-rent purchases by Bilt Mastercard customers. With this deal, members can earn 6x on dining, 4x on select travel, and 2x on all other purchases (excluding rent) made on January 1st. Members can also participate in the Rent Free gameshow, which will feature musical artist A$AP Rocky this month.

Speaking of A$AP Rocky, Bilt is partnering with the rapper for a special promotion. Members can currently pre-order a copy of the new record Don’t Be Dumb on vinyl with a Bilt-exclusive cover (the standard edition cover art for the album actually comes from famed filmmaker Tim Burton). While the record itself is $16, a $5 shipping fee will be added. Don’t Be Dumb orders will begin shipping on the album’s release date of January 16th. Each member can order up to four copies of the 2-LP vinyl, but each order must be placed separately.

Bilt 2.0 Reservation Day

In other preorder news, Bilt has also revealed when customers can select their Bilt 2.0 card. Starting January 14th, members will be able to select which card they’d like to apply for. Selections must be made by January 30th to ensure a seamless transition from the current Bilt Mastercard.

As a reminder, current cardholders who choose a 2.0 product by that date will retain the same card number and won’t need to undergo a “hard pull” of their credit. New cards are expected to arrive by February 6th. On that date, Wells Fargo-issued cards will no longer work.

My Thoughts:

Starting with the latter part of this post, while we now know when you’ll be able to order a Bilt 2.0 card, we still don’t have details about these products. I’m not sure if that info will also arrive on the 14th or will be released ahead of time. Either way, I’m very interested to see what they’ve cooked up.

As for Rent Day next month, Bilt really phoned this one in. That’s understandable given all that’s going on, but it is a bit disappointing nonetheless.

Meanwhile, although I’ve never actually listened to A$AP Rocky, this album sounds interesting — and it’s fascinating that Bilt is partnering with him for an exclusive edition. Plus, at $16 ($21 with shipping), it’s a surprisingly good deal. I look forward to giving it a listen once my preorder arrives next month.
