Another Bilt Rent Day means another transfer bonus — plus enhanced redemptions on select gift cards.
About the Hilton Honors Transfer Bonus:
This Rent Day, Bilt members can earn up to a 200% bonus when transferring points to Hilton Honors. Per usual, the size of the transfer bonus will depend on your Bilt status:
- Blue (entry level): 75% bonus
- Silver: 100% bonus
- Gold: 150% bonus
- Platinum: 175% bonus
Members can also opt to move up a tier by redeeming $150 in Bilt Cash. For Platinum members, that means that they can earn a 200% bonus when redeeming their Bilt Cash.
As a reminder, Bilt Points must be transferred in increments of 1,000, and Blue members must transfer at least 2,000 points (all other tiers can transfer as few as 1,000). Bilt now also puts a cap on transfer bonuses, allowing members to earn the bonus on up to 100,000 Bilt Points transferred.
Bilt’s Enhanced Gift Card Redemption Deal:
In addition to the Hilton Honors bonus, members can also take advantage of boosted redemption rates on gift cards. Once again, these increases vary by status:
- Blue (entry level): 25% bonus
- Silver: 50% bonus
- Gold: 75% bonus
- Platinum: 100% bonus
Since gift card redemptions typically value Bilt Points at 0.7¢ each, this means Platinum members can get up to 1.4¢ per point with this offer. Meanwhile, Blue members will see an effective valuation of 0.875¢ per point.
More on Rent Day for July 2026:
Following last month’s Madonna collab, another musician is stopping by Rent Free this month, as Diplo will give members a chance to win free rent. This month’s game is now live on the Bilt app or site.
Of course, on July 1st, Bilt credit card customers can also earn double points on all purchases, except for rent. For those with the Bilt Blue, that means 2x on all non-housing purchases, while those with the Bilt Obsidian can also earn 6x points on either dining purchases or grocery purchases (depending on their select category) and 4x on travel purchases. Lastly, the Bilt Palladium will earn members 4x on all purchases sans housing payments on the first. Keep in mind that a maximum of 1,000 bonus points can be earned in double points per Rent Day.
My Thoughts:
Starting Blue members off with a 75% bonus may sound great… until you realize that Amex Membership Rewards points transfer to Hilton Honors at a rate of 1:2 by default (with 30% bonuses also relatively frequent). However, for those with higher status, this may be a more attractive option. That’s especially true if you have Honors status and can pair this with the brand’s “book four nights with points and get the fifth night free” deal.
Similarly, I wouldn’t bother with the gift card deal if you’re a Blue member. Why? Well, you’d still be getting less than 1¢ per point even with the bonus. Silver at least clears that bar, but unless you really want to take a cash equivalent, it’s probably not worth it.
Finally, I’m a little surprised that I Prefer, Bilt’s newest transfer partner, wasn’t the bonus this time around. Perhaps next month?
