Mesa Partners with Omni Hotels for Latest Point Transfer Program

The Mesa Homeowners Card is growing its points transfer network, adding a unique hotel partner to its roster.

About the Mesa and Omni Hotels Partnership:

Omni Hotels & Resorts has joined Mesa as its latest travel transfer partner. Notably, this marks the first time Omni has partnered with any credit card point program to allow transfers.

Now, Mesa members can convert Mesa Points to Omni Credits. Specifically, 30,000 Mesa Points can be redeemed for 100 Omni Credits (representing a unique 30,000:100 transfer ratio). With 100 Omni Credits, travelers can book one free night at any Omni hotel or resort. However, note that blockout dates do apply.

In celebration of their partnership, Omni is also giving Mesa members a chance to earn complimentary status. Those who transfer Mesa Points to Omni within the first three months can enjoy Champion Status (which typically requires $4,000 Tier Dollars). With this status, customers can earn 10 Omni Credits per room night, enjoy a free 1-room type tier upgrade, get early check-in and late check-out when available, receive daily free bottled water, and other perks.

Omni transfers are now available in the Mesa app. Members can tap the Rewards tab, scroll to More Rewards, and select Omni (instead of the regular Point Transfer option). From there, users can link their Omni Guest Member ID or create a free account.

More on the Mesa Homeowners Card:

With the Mesa Homeowners Card, customers can not only earn rewards on their mortgage payments but also take advantage of several credits.

First, cardholders can earn 1 point per dollar spent on mortgage payments after spending at least $1,000 on the card per month (note that the mortgage payment is made directly with the servicer and not with the Mesa card). Additionally, the card earns 3x on home-related purchases. This includes Home Decor, Home Improvement, Maintenance, Telecom & Utilities, and more. Cardholders can also earn 2x at gas stations and EV charging stations, 2x at grocery stores (excluding Target, Amazon, and Walmart as well as warehouse clubs), and 1x on all other purchases. These points can then be redeemed for mortgage payments, statement credits, and travel bookings — or transferred to partnering programs.

As for credits, the Mesa Card includes a Lowe’s credit of up to $30 per calendar quarer, a $65 per year credit toward a Costco membership, up to $10 per month for purchases from The Farmer’s Dog, up to $10 per month on eligible Wag purchases, up to $25 per job booked on Thumbtack (up to $200 per year), and more. The Mesa Homeowners Card has no annual fee.

What They’re Saying:

Announcing the partnership with Omni, Mesa CEO and co-founder Kelley Halpin said, “Through our partnership with Omni, members can now see their rewards stretch beyond monthly bills and into unlocking experiences that matter most. By connecting with an established hospitality brand, we’re showing how rewards can evolve beyond just savings. It’s about creating access to experiences that were previously out of reach.”

Meanwhile, Omni CMO Michael Innocentin stated, “We’re always looking for new ways to deepen guest loyalty and create memorable experiences. Our partnership with Mesa introduces a new path for homeowners to enjoy the authentic hospitality and personalized service that defines Omni, and we look forward to welcoming their members to our properties across the country.”

My Thoughts:

I don’t know a lot about Omni — but I love that Mesa is doing something unique here. At this point, it’s really like they’re trying to out-Bilt Bilt! Not only are they adding a transfer partner that’s never participated in such a program before but they’re also running a status promotion that feels truly inspired. Even if I never actually use this option, kudos to Mesa on their continued evolution.
