Capital One Rolls Out Tasty New Offer for Savor Rewards Card

Capital One is bringing enhanced bonuses to three of its cards, including the popular Savor card.

About the Special Capital One Offers:

For a limited time, customers can earn special welcome offers from two Capital One cards.

First, those who apply and are approved for a new Capital One Savor Rewards card earn a bonus of up to $300. Just for opening the card, members will enjoy a $100 Capital One Travel credit to be used towards flights, hotel bookings, or rental car bookings during the first cardholder year. What’s more, this $100 travel credit comes on top of the card’s standard welcome bonus, which allows new cardholders to earn $200 cashback after spending just $500 on the card within their first 3 months from account opening.

Meanwhile, a similar deal is currently in effect for the Capital One VentureOne and Quicksilver cards. For either product, new cardholders can earn a $100 Capital One Travel credit to be used during their first cardholder year upon opening the card. Additionally, those who spend at least $500 in purchases on the VentureOne card during their first 3 months will earn 20,000 bonus miles. Those with the Quicksilver card will instead be able to earn $200 bonus cashback after spending $500 in purchases during their first 3 months.

Although Capital One does not currently state when these deals will expire, they do note that these are limited-time offers.

About the Capital One Savor Rewards Card (and more):

The Capital One Savor card (formerly the SavorOne) is a no-annual-fee card with some very rewarding categories. With the Savor card, you’ll earn 3% cashback at grocery stores, 3% on dining, 3% on entertainment, and 3% on select streaming services. Additionally, cardholders earn 5% back on hotel and rental car bookings made through Capital One Travel. All other purchases earn 1% back.

Continuing the theme, both the VentureOne and Quicksilver cards are also annual fee-free. However, in contrast to the Savor card, both of these options are flat-rate earners (except for the 5% on Capital One Travel hotel and rental car bookings category). With the Capital One VentureOne, cardholders earn unlimited 1.25 miles per dollar spent on the card. These miles can then be redeemed toward any eligible travel purchase or transferred to one of Capital One’s travel partners. As for the Capital One Quicksilver card, it earns 1.5% cashback on all purchases.

My Thoughts:

The $200 in bonus for $500 in spending offered by the Capital One Savor card was already one of my favorite deals on the market. Even though it’s not the largest bonus by any means, the spend-to-reward ratio is strong.

Now, with this special offer, it’s an even better deal! Moreover, beyond the bonus itself, you get a cashback card that I think is one of the best for most people. Therefore, this feels like a no-brainer if you don’t already have the card.

If you fancy either the VentureOne or Quicksilver more, then this limited-time offer may make now the right time to pick those up too. But, if you’re trying to choose between them, I’d personally recommend the Savor card and would definitely recommend taking advantage of this deal.

2025 SoFi Checking and Savings Review

Ever since I started taking an interest in the FinTech sector, one company whose name I’ve seen pop up over and over again is SoFi.
